asosasos sandals

Every now and then, a buzz from the postman makes me an incredibly happy boy! Although I have to admit that waiting can be a real pain. Got a package from the postman the other day from Asos and it was my first time buying footwear online so I was kind of expecting to be a little disappointed. Over the last year or so, I guess I have overcome most of my skepticism of online shopping but I still have the fear of things not fitting right especially when shipping costs are high. I guess a large reason too is that I am very particular about how my clothes fit.

I've been searching high and low for sandals like these and trust me when I say high and low. I've looked for them in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and rather extensively online as well. However, I just couldn't seem to find any that I really liked at a decent price until now. I did have my eyes on the gladiators by Acne and Pierre Hardy, but considering they were rather pricey, I was really hoping that I would be able to physically try them on before buying, but that option wasn't available to me. Asos offers such a wide range of clothes, bags, accessories, shoes at such great prices that I really had a hard time not throwing everything into my shopping cart. In the end, I resisted temptation and checked out with just two sandals at only £45 (shipping included)! I didn't even know at first, but discovered upon checkout that I made my purchase on the last day of the free shipping worldwide offer! What a steal! Anyways, I think I've overcome my fear of buying footwear online. I am extremely happy with the braided leather strappy sandals but the gladiators might take a little getting used to. Just a note when purchasing footwear online, make sure you do your research as all brands fit differently! Find out if the sizes for that particular brand runs big or small and most importantly if the sizes are UK or US sizing!
