My wardrobe is mostly made up of whites, greys and blacks. Basic and simplistic, just the way I like it. Although, there are days when I like a pop of colour. Definitely perks me up on those sunny summer days.

ReplyDeleteThe other day I wore a pale yellow skirt with red canvas sneakers. Compared to these guys, it doesn't seem so bad right? But it was actually quite.
It is so difficult to define what's hot and what's not when it comes to street style! You want to stand out but there are still limits. With colour, I realize that there is no middle ground. You either keep it to a minimum, like a bright accessory or a statement t-shirt, or go all out like this guy on the right!
I think when it comes to street fashion, there isn't really a hot or not. In fact, same goes for fashion. After all, fashion like art, is very personal and often opinionated. There may be some ins and some outs, but ultimately, it really is about how the person wears the clothes. Be brave in experimenting and be confident wearing the clothes. Trust me, it shows.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I like to keep it simple. If I'm going to do anything crazy, I try to limit myself to just 1 item with a pop, be it an accessory or a piece of clothing.
