I've been searching for gladiator sandals for the longest time and boy are these perfect! Many might feel that the trend of gladiator sandals is so 2009 (or 2008?) but to be honest, I think that gladiators are still valid particularly in menswear. I think that the only reason that gladiator sandals are starting to lose its appeal to some, is because you see these bigger sized ah lians with stubby legs wearing gladiators everywhere (no offense really, but some things just don't look good on some people). One thing I have to admit, is that I do think there has been a shift from the spartan gladiator to a more military chic gladiator (if that even makes sense), with the open toe boots that are showing up on so many runways.
