This christmas, is a little different. For the first time, I will be "counting down" alone. In fact, I will probably be fast asleep when the clock strikes midnight. I worked 9 hours Christmas eve, and I will work 9 hours tomorrow on Christmas day. Make it 9 hours starting at 6 in the morning. I thought it would be a lot harder than this, but despite it being very different, I thank God for many things. This Christmas really isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I spent the night pretty much on the beach taking photos. In fact, there was a lot of first's this Christmas.
First time I spent Christmas away from family and friends. First time spending Christmas in a foreign country. First time not have a big feast on Christmas eve. First time working on Christmas eve. First time having to work on Christmas day. First time seeing spirit balloons (really gorgeous sight)!
Well, despite being miles away and oceans apart, I'm still thinking of you all on this day. Merry Christmas all you little munchkins. I'll update more pictures and more about work soon enough.
